There was unexpected but deserved success for our club champion Men’s Triples combination at the weekend.
Skipped by Neal Pritchard with Reg Goston at two and club President John McBeth leading, they won the Bowls Kapiti Centre Champion of Champions title.
What a cliffhanger! No wonder the three players pictured look happy. Add relieved to that. Kathy Edney-Meachan, Trudy Nicholson (skip) and Maureen Gestro have won our Women’s Triples title.
There’s no doubt summer is approaching and the new bowls season is well under way.
