All bowling clubs rely on the enthusiasm and willingness of members to help make their club run smoothly.
Silvey and Steve Bishop are two perfect examples. Our Winter Galas on Tuesdays, which have 26 teams competing, are organised by a small team, but behind the scenes there is Silvey- ensuring that hot drinks and food are available when the players have their breaks. If Steve’s not playing he’ll be right at his wife’s side and is certainly not afraid to do dishes!
