Womens Championship Triples 2021/22
What a cliffhanger! No wonder the three players pictured look happy. Add relieved to that. Kathy Edney-Meachan, Trudy Nicholson (skip) and Maureen Gestro have won our Women’s Triples title. If you look closely at the scoreboard, you might be able to detect that they lead 18-9 over Ronnie Crone, Jane Bradbury and Kip Marshall, but the lead was whittled away until they entered the final end at 18-18. Trudy’s team prevailed to take the title 20-18. They probably had sleepless nights after all that excitement! Well done.
