Congratulations to all concerned!!

We are thrilled to announce that our Club won the Kapiti Coast District Council award for Club of the Year at the 2016 Sportsperson of the Year Award Ceremony.

The award was presented to our Club by Councilor Mike Cardiff at the ceremony on 2 May 2016 and was accepted on our behalf by Past President Lyndsay Osborne.

Our Club was selected as a finalist against two other clubs in the Club of the Year category.

Things taken into consideration were:

The large groups of club volunteers
Good administration with documentation
Sound financial position
Representative players and Centre titles
Community involvement

Gold Award from Bowls NZ (noted that only 13 clubs in the country have this award)

Lyndsay attended the ceremony and accepted the award on the Club’s behalf.
