Winners Womens Premier Interclub Title 2023
It’s been one heck of a day for the club with our women winning the Interclub title for this season.
Although they’d qualified top of the table during the round robin series, all the players knew they’d need to produce their top form to capture the title. Adding to the pressure was the fact our unbeaten singles player Lisa White wasn’t available for the final.
But up stepped Audrey Stevenson to continue Lisa’s success. She won all three matches today.Michelle Macdonald took Audrey’s place in the Pair with Rochelle Stevenson and they won 2 from 3.
The four of Ronnie Crone (s), Lyndsay Osborne, Sue McFarlane and Ngawiki Kirikiri lost 1.
In the end it was a comfortable victory with 6.5 wins and a large differential.
