The Junior Women’s Singles, which was unfortunately played in windy conditions. First year player, Sue Veart, seemed to struggle in the early ends but then fought back to put pressure on Kathy Edney- Meechen (also a first year player) before Kathy scored the win. Another win for first year players. Well done,

The competition had been postponed because of Covid-19 lockdown but the gentle winter conditions proved ideal for a late completion of the event.
