Sharon Sims Coaching June 2021
The club was privileged to host one of New Zealand’s best players, Sharon Sims, at the weekend. Her record of 3 World Championship titles, a Commonwealth Games gold medal and 6 National titles, places her in the top bracket of players. Her ability as a coach has been well-recognised and Sharon was often seen rink side during international matches as the New Zealand women’s High Performance Coach. To have her at the club willingly and enthusiastically sharing her knowledge and tips to a large group of Raumati members was awesome. Thank you Sharon. You won a lot of admiration. On the 26th June, Gary Lawson will be at the club for a coaching session immediately following our AGM.
