“The club was buzzing- and quite noisy- during the week when we hosted 50 local primary school chidren as past of a school holiday programme. With normal sized bowls being quite heavy and uncomfortable for many of the smaller children, we made use of the club’s supply of indoor bowls. Some of these youngsters looked quite at home and showed a uncanny natural ability!”

Winners Mixed Fours 2020 This good looking group won the 2020 Mixed Fours Championship on September 20th. Team members were Mike Harvey(S), Sue McFarlane, John McBeth and Patricia Swanepole. Interesting that the team included both the Club President and Secretary.
Kapiti Centre Year 1 and 2 singles 2021
It was an all- Raumati Bowling Club final in the Kapiti Centre Year 1 and 2 singles which was played this weekend. The club is chuffed, as too are those who featured.
Handicap Singles Result
In the singles it was a case of the determination and skill of experienced player Ted Marshall just giving him the edge over Mike Harvey. It was a thrilling match during which neither player could gain any ascendancy. There were just two points separating them at the end. Congratulations Ted.
