Mens Championship Pairs 2021

This weekend features section play in the Championship Men’s Pairs. Twenty teams have entered so competition will be very exciting. Last season’s winner, Steve Sargent and Arnold Osborne are back but there are several combinations which are capable of claiming the title this season. It’s fantastic that Ray Fawcett, the area’s most famous taxi driver, has recovered from health issues and has entered with Mike Hunter.   Photo shows Ray looking over the club fence counting the days till he can play again! The draw is on our website under Raumati Events and results will be posted at the end of each round.

At the end of Section play there were 10 qualifiers. Steve Sargent and Arnold Osborne were unsuccessful
