The club hosted a group of players from the Kia Toa Bowling Club in Hastings over the weekend. While conditions for play on Saturday morning were unpleasant, the BBQ and entertainment on the Friday night was top notch. President John invited former television colleague and Fair Go presenter, Kevin Milne, to join him in a light hearted Q and A session. There wasn’t much that was serious and everyone seemed relaxed when Kevin advised the members that his pet pig-which became famous in the Vodafone television ads- would live out his life in peace and contentment…and never become bacon!
