A frost covered green greeted players for the first qualifying day of the club championship men’s fours, but a beautiful clear, sunny day emerged and some superb matches were played.
Neal Pritchard’s team scored three wins, while 2 winners included Euan Hubbard, Dennis Hawkings, Steve Sargent and Gill Lowry.
The championships continue this weekend alongside the women’s competition.
