On 3 Octoner 2020 the Club held the qualifying rounds of both the men’s and women;s Triples championships. The day started out with a cold wind but conditions improved as the day went on.

Lisa White Continuing Success
Lisa White has continued her outstanding recent form to comfortably win the Kapiti Women’s Singles title at Central Levin over the weekend.
The recently crowned National Mixed Pairs champion showed tremendous composure throughout the competition to fend off some talented opposition. In the final, she beat young up and comer Sammie Sweeney from Paekakariki.

The competition had been postponed because of Covid-19 lockdown but the gentle winter conditions proved ideal for a late completion of the event. Trudy’s team was Lynn Carter, Kathy Edney-Meechan and Maureen Gestro.
